Will Qantas Leigh Clifford become honourable & say sorry like our Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.

Our new Prime Minister has brought some decency to our country and is preparing to say Sorry.

Perhaps some of this decency might rub off on the new Qantas chairman, Leigh Clifford. Pigs Might Fly
( Soon to be published are all the letters he refuses to reply to. How do these people really sleep at night. Perhaps they get the left over pills from the Hardies directors )

Bryan Griffin is waiting for Qantas to say Sorry for wrongfully trying to have him charged with extortion and for them illegally, irresponsibly & immorally clearing him to fly 747's while he had a compulsion to shut down all engines on take off. They obviously had no concerns for you as a passenger.

Go to my web site and you can see their illegal actions in black and white

Qantas claim of extortion backfired on them but they won't admit it.

Bryan Griffin is still waiting for an apology from Qantas for falsely accusing him of extortion, as well as the turmoil this accusation caused him.
Melissa Thomson, a Qantas PR rep went overboard in a fantasy interpretation of the request made by Bryan in a phone conversation.
Ex Qantas 747 pilot Bryan Griffin was visited by Sergeant Llowarch from the Windsor police who said he was investigating (Event 78977736) on behalf of Detective Gentle from Botany Bay police. The investigation was of a possible extortion attempt on Qantas (initiated by Laurie Ratz, of Qantas security). Sergeant Llowarch led him to believe he would be prosecuted if he told the media of the email sent to Qantas PR Melissa Thomson. (Later he was told by the police that it was NOT a police matter) In fear of prosecution Bryan rang the Department of Transport (C A S A) and they sent him his complete medical file. This file contained the documents that showed that Qantas had broken the law.Full report

Qantas 747 Captain fails to check. Disastrous results follow

I hope Qantas Captain Richard De Crespigny checks his 747 better than he checks his facts.
This is a email he sent without checking the facts. My corrections are in bold.

Hi Bryan

I am very sorry to hear of your mental illness. Certainly I think society does not fully understand the depth and severity of the problems associated with mental illness and for that I have sympathy with you.

However if you can understand the fact that people are generally kind, and that there are personal responsibilities then:

- you should have reported your illness to CASA who would have immediately revoked your licence
My illness was never given correctly to CASA by Qantas. They covered it up and did not pass the reports that would have had me grounded until CASA found out about them and asked Qantas to forward them. At this time I had left Qantas
- you should have reported yourself to be too sick to fly with your employer, which again is your responsibility under the CAOs and CARs.
I reported my illness to Qantas as soon as it happened. Qantas sent me to three psychiatrists, ignoring the ones that would have had me grounded and passing one that suited them to CASA
It's nice to find a person or company or "fairy godmother" to blame for your unfortunate predicament, but unfortunately in your logical arguments you failed to address why you failed to contact CASA or simply just declare yourself too sick to fly each sector (which is your legal obligation).
After a time when I couldn't go along with the Qantas doctors views anymore I removed myself from duty as on the next take off I would have shut down the engines
In actual fact on one occasion when I told the Captain of my illness he removed me from the flight deck. Qantas told him to reinstate me. They knew I was still ill but they illegally ignored it and sent this letter to CASA Qantas letter

I am confident employers have a person's interest at heart, and also the travellers. That your employer tried to accommodate your is a compliment to it. To criticise your employer whilst at the same time not following your legal obligations or informing CASA of your illness, is your decision, but don't blame the employer for your follies.
I had a loss of licence insurance which I could not collect because of Qantas illegally renewing my licence. Who else should I blame for not being able to collect it.
The presence of your website is a testimony to your continued anger and failure to understand the basic legal responsibilities of a person in charge of others. In other words, don't expect a person to think you are rational in these web pages, when you justify your past actions when you were probably insane. Perhaps you are probably still insane and so your web site will be viewed accordingly.
That is your view. It seems unusual that so many thousands of travelers etc would want to come to such a site as you describe
Your web site is poorly designed & laid out, and hopelessly presented. It is not a compliment to you or your cause. I would take the dignified approach and just delete the entire web site.
If you had been defrauded by your employer to stop you collecting an insurance, wouldn't you fight it? If the Qantas doctor had followed the recommendations by the two psychiatrists I would have been grounded and collected the insurance. Because of Qantas' Illegal, Immoral and Irresponsible actions I was not able to. Any company with an ounce of decency would rectify the situation.Perhaps I am not as clever as you at http://www.aeronaut.biz but at least my web sites are at the top. Are yours? For proof check Google for 747 pilot.

Bury the hatchet. It was 27 years ago.

I wish you the best for a continued mental health recovery. Read Dr. Phillips report. I will never fully recover
Regards

Richard Donnay

Boycot Qantas because of Qantas and Jetstar engineers strike.

Boycot Qantas because of Qantas and Jetstar engineers strike.
Book on Qantas Jet Star

Why would you want to fly on an aircraft cleared by unhappy Qantas engineers?

Why are they unhappy?
Because they cant get through to Geoff Dixon.

Why cant they get through?
Because he wants to change it to DIXON AIR

I have tried to get replies from Qantas for 7 years without success. What did I do?
I bought shares in Qantas and sent a question to the board for the AGM. Did they read it. No.
A full report has been sent to A.S.I.C and I hope they are fined for this and their other illegal activities.

Qantas illegally cleared me to fly with a compulsion to shut down all engines on a 747.
Were you one of the passengers inches away from a fiery death?
Ask Qantas if they are still clearing mentally ill pilots to fly you.

Read the condemning reports on how Qantas cleared a suicidal pilot to fly you. Really, think twice or better still three times before you buy a ticket.

Next time you book an airline ticket, Think of the airline created by the clever and honest pom, Sir Richard.

If you are stuck because of the strike, email this blog to Qantas. Click here

Geoff Dixon Heart? bypass. Some say it is publicity. Will he be on TIME cover next?

Geoff Dixon has heart surgery. Daily Telegraph

Qantas denies Geoff Dixon heart bypass Herald Sun

This is what Aviation thinks of Geoff Dixon

Geoff, Stop the bullshit and show your face with someone trustworthy.
We know that you get a kick back from the media. More sales equals more money.
In addition to his duties at Qantas he occupies a non-executive director's seat on the boards of James Packer's Consolidated Media and Crown.
It's a bit like "Double Dipping
