I sent the letter below to the following directors of Qantas prior to the AGM on the 14th November 2007, Margaret Jackson, Leigh Clifford, Peter Gregg, Paul Anderson, Mike Codd, AC,General Peter Cosgrove, AC, MC, Patricia Cross, Garry Hounsell , Dr John Schubert, James Strong, AO,and secretary Cassandra Hamlin, but none of them will reply.
To me that means they are too ashamed to admit the illegal actions of Qantas.

Dear I would like to put the following to the board at the AGM in Melbourne on 14th November 2007. It refers to the Qantas document titled ‘Qantas Code Of Conduct and Ethics.’ Why have these if they are going to be broken?
2.1 Deals with ‘Compliance with Laws and Ethical Standards.’
Firstly…Will the Qantas Directors take the responsibility for the Illegal, Immoral and Irresponsible actions of Qantas to retired 747 pilot Bryan Griffin.
In his report, Dr. Johnathan Phillips, a leading Australian psychiatrist, said…
“On my evaluation Mr. Griffin experienced a worsening of his symptoms generally as a consequence of QANTAS expecting him to continue flying and failing to organise appropriate medical retirement.”
This damming report is in reference to Qantas Dr. Thompson clearing Mr. Griffin to carry on flying 747’s illegally, according to the Air Navigation Orders, following the reports of two psychiatrists. His compulsion was to Shut Down All Engines of a 747 inappropriately.
These reports were withheld from CASA with the result Qantas put thousands of passenger’s lives at risk. Mr. Griffin’s compulsion worsened into wanting to shut down all engines on Take Off.
All directors have been made aware of the Failure of Duty of Care to Mr. Griffin but none will reply or address this illegal and unethical treatment of a 747 pilot.
Because Qantas passed this pilot’s medical, he was precluded from collecting his ‘Loss of Licence Insurance.’
If you Search Google for ‘747 pilot,’ Mr. Griffin’s web site is number one on the list.
Secondly.. Will the Qantas Directors take the responsibility for the court case pending against Qantas where $47 million has been set aside for the fine. Whose $47 million is this? The shareholders or the directors? Wouldn’t it be prudent for Qantas to hire a more professional legal team? The fine would certainly pay for them.
Where are the Qantas Ethics when one of the company’s key workers is “forced to fly with suicidal thoughts” to save them money, yet $47 million can be squandered because they were ‘Caught Out’ for illegal operations.
